Update:
This morning on Instagram Austin band Lord Buffalo announced that they had cancelled their European tour. The reason: on Monday May 12 their drummer Yamal had been detained on their flight out by Customs and Border Patrol at the DFW airport. According to the band’s social media, Yamal is a Mexican Citizen who is a legal resident and Green Card holder in America. The band doesn’t know where he is and cannot get in contact with him.
One of Austin’s main exports is touring bands. What is going to happen when the bands can’t leave the US to tour?
